The Production Department

All the mechanical components, the frames and the most important parts of the presses are factory-built with special care and technique, while the small components are supplied by qualified manufacturers chosen by I.M.V. through years of research and selection.

Our main machines are:

  • Two new, high-performance and high-precision milling-boring machines with movable posts, X12,000 Y4,000 strokes with a 50-tons-rated dial and fixed bolsters with a higher weight capacity.
  • § Numerical control lathes for the working of shafts, cams, gears, flywheels and bushings, with a diameter to be lathed up to 2,500 mm.
These and many other machines are installed on an area of 4,000 m2.
