    DM LEVER
    Line

    What happens:
  • The slide slows down during the down-stroke allowing a softer impact wit the material to be worked.
  • The working phase is slower and the die has more time for the forming operation.
  • After passing the bottom dead center the slide has a strong acceleration in the up-stroke thus recovering the time "wasted" during the slowing down in the working step.

    The different models
    of the "LEVER" line

  • LEVER 1 - Presses with a mechanism particularly suited for medium-thickness blanking and small drawings. medi e piccole imbutiture.
  • LEVER 2 - Presses with a mechanism particularly suited for medium-size drawing and blanking operations. imbutitura e tranciatura.
  • LEVER 3 - Presses with a lever-and-toggle mechanism, particularly suited for coining and blanking operations.

The variety of models of "DM LEVER" presses, here described in brief, can be used for different operations, such as blanking, drawing and coining.

Computerized design and calculation systems allow press customization according to the user's needs, thus optimizing the machining curve and the production cycle.

All the mechanisms and the fixed components under stress, are analyzed by specific software programs, which assure the production of high-strength, high structural rigidity and high-reliability machines.

All the mechanisms are made by using high-precision machines, which help in drastically reducing the clearance in the crank gear. All this, together with the guides arrangement and the large distance between the connecting-rod-slide anchor points, makes the slide's down stroke and parallelism even more precise and steady. The dies will then be better utilized and less worn. Thanks to the wide range of optional tooling available on every machine made by I.M.V. GALLI, many production and electronic management needs can be met.

The one-piece or modular press frame features large front and side service spaces, thus allowing an easy attachment of transfers and robot devices.
